How do I run for the Board of Directors Position?

Any member of the cooperative can run for an open position on the Board of Directors if they live in the district of a position is open, obtain 15 member signatures on the official petition, and complete and return said petition by the deadline - 11:30 am on Friday, April 19, 2024. See the qualifications, policy, and district map below.

When is the Annual Meeting?

The Annual Meeting is always on the second Friday of August. This year, it will be on Friday, August 9th, 2024, starting at 5 PM.

Where is the Annual Meeting held?

The Annual Meeting is held at the Jackson Fairgrounds Park located at 800 S Highland Ave, Jackson, TN 38301.

How do I vote?

Residential members of Southwest Tennessee EMC will receive a ballot in the July edition of The Tennessee Magazine. You will mark the ballot and return the ballot by mail in the return envelope provided.

What activities does the Annual Meeting have?

The Annual Meeting holds fun for all ages! We provide a meal, giveaways, and door prizes for all members. We will have a business meeting and a live band for all to enjoy! Bring your children, for we will also have bouncy houses!
