Washington Youth Tour

Each year, 8 high school juniors from Southwest Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation’s service area have an incredible chance to spend a week in our nation’s capital, getting a front-row view of government, leadership, and public policy. The Washington Youth Tour, sponsored by STEMC and the Tennessee Electric Cooperative Association, allows young leaders to explore Washington, D.C., and learn about government.
